Welcome to the Official Crashmagnet website

Crashmagnet is a new forming band from Woodbury CT. Forming member John Corrao is currently looking for a Bass player and a Drummer to take the EP CD he made and make a band out of it.  Crashmagnet has been John's screen name and email address for about 5 years.  The new Crashmagnet EP is entitled "The Clones" and is in local CT area music stores.  The EP is eight songs long and was recorded at John's personal studio, Crash Studio in Woodbury CT.

SONGS on the EP

1. Bridges- recorded in early March of 2004 (Mark Avery plays lead guitar on this track and rips it up nicely.)

2. The Clones- wriiten and recorded in early March 2004.  Song is a war protest song and about being your own person.

3. Maybe- written and recorded at the end of March 2004, a love song, simple but true

4. Akeldama- first song recorded for the EP early March 2004- this song was a powerful creation which led to the other songs being written.  With Eisenhower speech inserted into the song to drive the message home.

5. The New Order- recorded late in March 2004 after hearing Howard Stern ask "Doesn't anyone out there get pissed with Whats going on." So this song was born.

6. We All Fall Down-recorded in early Apirl of 2004, this song compares the childhood song "Ring around the rosie" to adult relationships breaking up.

7. Stuck-again recorded in early Apirl 2004 about being in a prison cell.

New Songs soon to be Released

1. A Beautiful Girl- this song missed being on the EP by a week and should really be on the EP because it matches the tone of the other songs, but was recorded at the end of Apirl.  Will be released on the next EP.
